Foot Mobilisation Techniques Level 2 successfully completed!

Dave has successfully completed the level 2 Foot Mobilisation Techniques (FMT) course.  We are now ready to provide an alternative treatment for foot and leg pain.

The premise of FMT is simple - "everything works better when it's in the right place".

When in pain, we naturally compensate to avoid the pain.  In the foot and leg, this compensation changes the way we walk and move, and also the position that we place our feet and legs.  This in turn leads to restrictions in the soft tissue in these structures (ligaments, muscles, etc) which leads to restrictions in the range of motion available in each joint.  This is a vicious cycle which leads to further compensation, more pain and restriction.

FMT is a set of mobilisations which aim to break this cycle.  Following a comprehensive history and biomechanical assessment, our practitioners will work with you over a series of consultations to mobilise the joints, remove the soft tissue restrictions and reduce the level of compensation.  This will be coupled with strengthening exercises to support the mobilisations and allow your body to heal itself.

Results can often be impressive, with an increased range of motion and reduction in pain in short periods of time.  Dave has been treated using FMT with excellent results.

Why not give Walk a call and see if we can help.  If you have any questions or wish to book a consultation then please contact us.
