I had a great opportunity today, to go and visit Kidderminster College to talk to the Health and Social Care students about podiatry.
I talked for a while about podiatry in general, the scope of practice, training, biomechanics and musculoskeletal work, plus showed off a few gruesome pictures. Hopefully it didn't put too many of them off their food... They asked some great questions, and were a lively group, who despite being reluctant to get their feet out at first, did manage to show off their soles! This allowed me to demonstrate some of the cool things about podiatry work, and why I enjoy it so much. Thank you to Sarah and the Health and Social Care staff for the invite. Good luck to all the students with their studies and their chosen career! If you have a group who would benefit from a session regarding podiatry and foot health, then please get in touch to discuss your requirements. Love Feet, Love Life!
